Dearest Hamlet:

I am wrinting this letter to you anonymously just in case somebody finds it. Hamlet, I have come to warn you about the King’s plans. He has summoned upon Guildenstern and Rocencrantz to watch you and report everything back to him. He has done this because they suppose that you have gone mad and that they need help from your friends. Even your own dear mother believes him! Once the King was done with Rocencrantz and Guildenstern, Polonius entered bearing more proof that you’ve gone mad! He has told them that you have gone mad over Ophelia! Your mother thinks you’re madly in love, but the King is convinced you have gone crazy! Himself and Polonius have made a plan to listen secretively on yours and dear Oophelia’s conversation! I’ve come to warn you because I know you have not gone mad, and you are only mourning over your recently deceased father. Believe me Hamlet, and you will see.

Sincerley; Your loyal Subject
