Final File Document: Hamlet Collage
My overall collage is set up in a good versus evil type of way. On the left side of my collage it portrays the good things that Hamlet is thinking about, for example God, Heaven, Love. And noticeably Hamlet does not have many good things going across his mind. On the opposite side of the page is pictures representing suicide, death, murder, hell, and broken relationships.
Sword Fight: this image represents what Hamlet wants to do with Claudius. He wants to kill him and battle it out to avenge the death of his father.
Broken Heart: this picture represents Hamlet’s many relationships with his mother, Ophelia, and Claudius. They’re all broken and hurting in different ways.
Dagger: this image represents hate and death. Hamlet wants to kill Claudius and is thinking about any which way he can do it.
Rope: the rope represents Hamlet’s contemplation of suicide.
Heaven and Hell: although Hamlet is thinking about death and suicide, he is still thinking about the consequences regarding his actions. He knows that if he were to commit a sin he’d go to hell and be looked down upon by God.
Full heart: The full heart represents Hamlet’s ever- lasting love for his family. Hamlet has many things going on, but still in the end he loves his father, his mother, Ophelia, and Horatio very much.
Crown with red “X”: The crown with the red “X” represents Hamlet’s deprivation of gaining the honor of being King.
Good VS Evil: This picture shows the ongoing conflict going on throughout Hamlet’s mind and the contrast of colors.
